Thai
Spice
The place
For over two decades, Thai Spice has been the unassuming neighborhood Thai restaurant that South Florida food people quietly recommend to each other. On a stretch of Wilton Drive lined with louder, newer restaurants, Thai Spice earns its loyal following through consistency and generosity.
The green curry is the benchmark dish — fragrant, properly spiced, and served with enough coconut milk to make the rice irrelevant. The pad see ew and drunken noodles are heavy-end Thai comfort food, exactly right for a South Florida evening.
Portions are the kind of size that reliably produce a to-go container, which you will eat cold at 11pm and feel no shame about. The BYOB policy keeps the bill civilized.
